The Singapore International Foundation (SIF), in partnership with the Public Libraries Singapore and SIA Cargo, organises a charity educational toy drive for its Hanoi Mobile Library project.

The Singapore International Foundation (SIF), in partnership with the Public Libraries Singapore of the National Library Board (NLB) and SIA Cargo, organises a charity educational toy drive for its Hanoi Mobile Library project. The mobile library will be stocked with books and multimedia tools and will periodically visit Hanoi villages in Vietnam. These educational toys act as alternative learning tools for the children in the villages.
The toy drive runs over two days, 11 December and 12 December at four library branches. Public Libraries Singapore will mobilize its volunteers to man the collection booths and sort through toys and pack them. The toy-filled boxes will then be shipped to Hanoi by SIA Cargo.

Water for Life Video
On Thursday, 29 July 2010, the Singapore International Foundation (SIF) launched Water for Life in Siem Reap, Cambodia, a project which aims to provide over 9,000 villagers with convenient access to clean drinking water through the installation of bio-sand water filters in their homes.
