Singapore Kopitiam: What toys did you bring to donate? Why?
Mdm Tan: 5 stones, abacus, rubix cube, Lego, IQ gaming toy. These toys belonged to my youngest daughter who is 10 years old and has out-grown the toys.

Singapore Kopitiam: How did you know about this toy drive?
Mdm Tan: I heard about it from 938 live.

Singapore Kopitiam: Would you like to give any well wishes to the kids in Hanoi?
Mdm Tan: “Hope that they will have more learning chances and opportunities with the toys.”

Tan Hui Yi, 11

Singapore Kopitiam: Is this your first toy drive?
Hui Yi: Yes.

Singapore Kopitiam: How do you feel about this event?
Hui Yi: Good. I am happy to give away the toys to the children in Hanoi.

Singapore Kopitiam: Would you like to give any well wishes to the kids in Hanoi?
Hui Yi: “Hope they like the toys.”

Jessie Low

Singapore Kopitiam: How did you know about this toy drive?
Jessie: I heard about it from Radio 938 Live.

Singapore Kopitiam: Why have you donated?
Jessie: The toys belonged to my daughters who have all grown up. They are 20plus and are already working. I feel that I should play my part to help the less privileged children.

Singapore Kopitiam: Would you like to give any well wishes to the kids in Hanoi?
Jessie: “Hope they enjoy the toys.”

Wendy Wong

Singapore Kopitiam: How did you know about this toy drive?
Wendy: I read about it on Straits Times Newspaper.

Singapore Kopitiam: Why have you donated?
Wendy: My kids are constantly having new toys. So donating the old and usable toys would make space for the new toys that are coming in.

Singapore Kopitiam:  How do you feel about this event?
Wendy: I feel that this Toy Drive is fantastic and I am keen to donate other items such as clothes and books.

Singapore Kopitiam:  Would you like to give any well wishes to the kids in Hanoi?
Wendy: “They (kids in Hanoi) will enjoy the toys more than my kids”.
