Re-visit Singapore

We are looking for someone to re-visit Singapore and discover what has changed and what has stayed the same. All you need to do is to tell us what your best memory in Singapore is, in less than 200 words, and stand a chance to win a pair of tickets to visit Singapore. Terms and conditions apply.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. This contest is open to previous student and employment pass holders and their dependants, who were residents for at least three months in Singapore.
  2. This contest closes on Friday, 23 July 2010. The winner of the contest will be announced two weeks after the contest closes.
  3. Only one entry will be accepted per person per email address. Entries from the same person or from the same email address will be disqualified.
  4. You agree that all information and/or particulars sent or submitted by you to the Singapore International Foundation (SIF) in relation to the access of this website is non-confidential and non-proprietary unless otherwise expressly indicated by you.
  5. You undertake not to submit any information and/or materials which are or may be offensive, illegal or which may not be lawfully disseminated under the laws of Singapore or  the Entrant’s current country of residence.
  6. You consent to the publication of your name and winning write up by the SIF in any/all its publicity materials at any time without any reference to you.
  7. The prize is a pair of air tickets to Singapore that cannot be exchanged for cash. The SIF reserves the right to substitute the prize with another one of an equivalent value without assigning any reason thereto.
  8. The winner will be notified by email and will be required to respond, via email, to the SIF within 10 working days to claim the prize.
  9. If the prize remains unclaimed after 10 working days it will be deemed to have been forfeited. The SIF reserves the right to either offer the prize to the next best entry or  in any future competition.
  10. The SIF reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions of the Contest at any time without notice. Please check the website for any changes to the terms and conditions.
  11. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and any amendments thereto and to agree to be bound by them when submitting their entries.
  12. The decision of the judges is final and binding and no correspondence, dispute or appeal will be entertained.
  13. The SIF reserves the right to verify the accuracy of any information submitted by contestants. Any false, inaccurate or misleading information shall deem the contestant to be disqualified from participation.
  14. The SIF also has the right to disqualify any entrants who do not comply with any of these Terms and Conditions.
  15. The air tickets will issued by the SIF to the winner. Tickets issued will only be from Singapore Airlines destinations. A destination closest to the winner’s current residence will be selected. The winner will make his own arrangements and bear his own costs to and from the selected destination to utilise the prize tickets.
  16. The winner and companion must travel together to Singapore by 31 December 2010, or the tickets would be forfeited. The winner’s ticket is non transferable.
  17. The winner will have to notify the SIF of the intended date of travel at least one month in advance. Any notice less than that will incur a fee of $600, payable by the winner before the tickets can be issued. The air tickets will be issued by the SIF to the winner.
  18. The winner will bear all charges and additional costs incurred due to changes in date or passenger’s names they make.
  19. The winner will be expected to provide photos and a write up of their visit to Singapore. The SIF reserves the right to publish the write up and photos.
