The purpose of this walk is to bring home the message to protect our water resources, and to raise awareness of the struggles that people around the world face in accessing clean water. The walk route itself stretches under 3 km, so it’s a symbolic act.  The walk will take place within and around the Marina Barrage, from 8 am on 20^th March 2011.

Registration is necessary, as Aveda and PUB will be giving out goodie bags.  PUB will also be issuing free World Water Day T-shirts which participants have to wear to the event.  Aveda is also looking into chartering buses to ferry participants to Marina Barrage from a central point - the details are currently being worked out.
