It is organised with the belief that everyone should step forward and hold the responsibility of healing this earth; walking our thoughts, together we can make the difference.

By coming together, we can educate and raise the awareness amongst Singaporeans on the importance of going green. This helps to promote and cultivate green habits to be practiced in our everyday life, creating a positive impact to our health and environment.

Through this event, we hope to provide a platform for Singaporeans to learn more on environmental issues and green philosophies; government agencies, local green groups, educational institutions and corporations will be there to showcase their products/services and green initiatives.

You can take part in the green movement by participating in these events:

- Be part of the grassroots community spirit by joining 19,999 people to form the largest human formed logo and breaking the Singapore Book of Record.

- Take the 10 cent pledge - This pledge is an initiative to encourage Singaporeans and the community at-large to demonstrate their willingness to dump the harmful packaging for our health and the environment, and pay 10cents more for green sustainable packaging.

- Project Greenway - Inspired by the American Reality TV show, “Project Runway” to create a fashion wear with limited budget, time and recyclable materials. In one episode, the contestants were challenged to create an outfit using recycled items such as trash bags, newspapers, etc.

- Corporations are encouraged to donate SGD 1 for every event participant to raise funds of SGD 20,000 for charitable organisations and the needy.
