Move to the grooves at Mika's one-night only performance

When we say performance, we really mean party! Flamboyant London-based singer songwriter popularly known as Mika is fame for getting his audience movin’ and groovin’ to his dance-funk-psychedelic tunes!

His show at the Max Pavilion on 14th June marks his virgin stop over in Singapore, en route to Hong Kong as part of his Asian tour.

The highly infectious and endearing tunes of this Lebanese-born Goldie Locks (he has a beautiful crown of curly hair) is somewhat of a cross between the Scissor Sisters, Bee Gees and Elton John.

Having launched his music career only four years ago, the sharp distinctive tunes of Mika has already earned him numerous awards including the 2007 World Music Awards and the 2008 Brit Music Award for his very first album titled Life in Cartoon Motion (1997). His performance here will therefore include hits such as “Big Girl” and “Grace Kelly” . It will also include hits from his second album - The Boy Who Knew Too Much.

Having been trained by a Russian opera singer before he went on to the Royal College of Music (though he did not graduate from it), we at Singapore Kopitiam have no doubts that the show will indeed be “bigger, better and bolder”.
